Welcome to
Mechanical Engineering Female Graduate Student Association (MEFEGs) is a TAMU student club run by graduate students of the J. Mike Walker '66 Department of Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University. Swing by Room 440, Jcain!

Here at MEFEGs, we're stitching together a tapestry of support, collaboration, and empowerment, exclusively for the female graduate students of the Mechanical Engineering (MEEN) department. But wait, there's more! We're not just a sanctuary for the savvy; we're a launchpad for the next generation of female leaders in engineering. Visiting or new to the department? You’ll find our doors wide open, welcoming you into a haven where friendships bloom and professional networks flourish.

We provide a supportive and collaborative community among the female graduate students in the Mechanical Engineering (MEEN) department, we also provide a welcoming environment for visiting and/or new students while ultimately creating a strong network of friends and coworkers/colleagues that collaborate with the other organizations in the department and College of Engineering.
We motivate women to choose Texas A&M for graduate degrees/studies, while at the same time, encouraging women from around the world to apply for faculty positions in the department.
